Our client is an American multinational footwear company. Headquartered in Manhattan Beach, California, the brand is now the third largest athletic footwear brand in the United States.
Our client wanted to combine their current Service Portal functionality with the content of their SharePoint intranet to create a "one stop shop" for the end user. The current SharePoint site was in a state of disarray, confusing to use, and displayed irrelevant content to most users. Our team needed to find a way to identify and organize the relevant content types and create an intuitive navigation structure without overwhelming the user.
Brought together the existing Service Portal and SharePoint intranet into a "one stop shop" solution for the company.
One central page for users to view and browse company news from all departments.
Created a custom interface for the documents resource page for users to view, search, and download important documents.
Allow users and admins to easily view and manage events from all around the company.
Applied unified company branding across the entire site through images, colors, and design elements.
Dedicated department page templates to allow flexibility in displayed content based on department's needs.
We created a unified and central solution to help identify, display, and manage more relevant content to the user. Through taxonomy consulting, design workshops, and use of our Orbit CMS and RocketFuel widgets, we built an intranet replacement that allows users to intuitively find information, engage with employees, manage documents, and promote relevant content throughout the organization.
